Event Overview: Art educator, artist and graphic designer, Kristine Ballard, will teach you and your students the the fundamentals of the abstract movement. Your students will explore the works of Kandinsky, Malevich, and other leaders of Abstraction and how they influenced contemporary artists such as Anish Kapoor and Barnett Newman.

Students will learn new ways of looking at and understanding how to read abstract art and create their own individual abstract masterpiece.

A highly engaging and interactive painting experience for you and your students!
