This excursion is for the students involved in the Arts Unit Home Program.This excursion will provide a unique opportunity for students to develop an understanding of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander collection of art works held at The Art Gallery of NSW. It introduces students to the idea of curatorial practice and allows students to examine and discuss Aboriginal art works displayed at the AGNSW. Students will meet Amanda Peacock from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Programs. Students will hear directly from Amanda and have the opportunity to discuss the artworks they will be viewing.
