International Jazz Day – Join a melody writing lesson with James Morrison
The Arts Unit is working closely with International Jazz Day ambassador James Morrison and is preparing curriculum materials to support schools and students take part in this All-Star Global event.
This support includes a virtual excursion with James on how to write a great melody on Monday November 12. James will emphasise that you don’t have to be a jazz musician or even a trained musician to compose a melody – just enthusiastic.

During the virtual excursion there will be an opportunity for James to respond to student's questions and also provide feedback on some compositions.
