The NSW Premier's Debating Challenge 2019 - Years 9 and 10 Final showcases NSW Department of Education debating teams discussing issues of contemporary significance. The competition will be held in the William Wilkins Gallery and will take the form of a one hour debate with both sides having a choice from three topics. The activity enhances the ability of students to respond in a short period of time to a set topic in a meaningful fashion and to work as part of a team arguing either an Affirmative or Negative case. Students will learn about how adjudicators judge the debates and they will have a chance to ask questions directly of the adjudicators based on the debating adjudication form provided to them.
Dial in: 11:15am
