It will provide primary teachers with an opportunity to learn some simple but effective ways to integrate object-based learning strategies into their classroom practice.
In this interactive session, museum experts will discuss the importance of objects and demonstrate how to build narratives from objects. Participants will be taken through a range of successful object-based learning strategies (for Stage 1 to Stage 3), and consider how they can adapt their existing History lessons in similar ways.
Now running as an online 'twilight session' from 4pm-6pm, this session is a must for any teacher who wants to increase or enhance their use of object based learning.
Participants will receive a resource kit of reading material and references to support them in implementing object-based learning strategies in the classroom.
