The Health Education Unit at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick (SCH) offers health education programs for primary and high school students and their teachers. Programs are delivered virtually or in-person and aim to teach about health and medicine as it relates to the peadiatric hospital context. VIRTUAL PROGRAMS >> Hospital Explorer Virtual Excursion (for Year 1 students) This is an online version of the Hospital Explorer Program that has been running at SCH for over 15 years. The program aims to demystify the hospital environment for children and promote staying healthy, whilst exploring themes relevant to the school curriculum. Students will learn about playing safely and making healthy choices, use equipment to understand how the body works, and meet people who work at the hospital.
